The purpose of hipER is to promote the development of historically informed performance practice (hip) through educational and research initiatives involving the study and performance of antique historical musical instruments with the aim to foster the valorization and safeguarding of musical heritage.

As a not-for-profit organization, it supports educational activities promoting the training of specialized musicians through masterclasses and workshops on antique instruments.

 

Research is at the core of hipER, bringing forward cooperation with a network of institutional and independent partners for the development of scholarly activities generating new knowledge, and expanding the work field for young professionals.
